Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to play her music in front of the public, but not so that she could gain fame but rather to help others realize the importance of their work and the good they do for humanity. When she was six she started playing the piano and at nine was writing music. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. She just loves to write songs. For her, music is the most effective method to experience anything.
